Tonight, nobody asks what you do.
In DC every happy hour starts with job titles. YesTonite starts with a photo, an age and what someone's into tonight: send one message and meet the same evening. Free, 18+.

Washington, off the clock
By day DC runs on badges, briefings and calendars blocked in half-hour slots. By six it loosens up fast. Happy hour is practically an institution here, and plenty of evenings start with coworkers on a patio and end somewhere else entirely, with people you met an hour ago.
The local cliché is real, though: the first question at any bar is what you do, the second is who you work for, and suddenly drinks feel like an interview. YesTonite skips the résumé. You see a photo, an age and an interest for tonight, send one message, and talk about anything but work.
The city also turns over all the time, with summer interns, new staffers and people on short postings, so a lot of people here are new in town and glad to meet someone.
Thursday is the big after-work night, and Friday and Saturday run latest. Bars generally pour until 2 a.m. on weeknights and 3 a.m. on weekends.
Where DC unwinds
- U StreetThe historic home of DC jazz, now bars, live music and late food.
- Adams Morgan18th Street's packed row of bars and rooftops, loudest on weekends.
- H Street NEA long corridor of bars, music spots and eclectic late hangouts.
- Navy YardRiverfront bars and patios by the ballpark, busy on game nights.
- Dupont CircleWine bars, lounges and a lively LGBTQ+ scene around the circle.
- ShawCocktail bars and restaurants that keep the neighborhood busy most nights.

About the partner programQuestions, answered
Is YesTonite new in Washington?
Yes, it's early days here. The people you see are real members going out tonight; we never invent profiles or numbers.
Do I have to put my job on my profile?
No. Your profile is a photo, an age, a sign and what you're into tonight. Your first name stays hidden until you choose to share it in a chat, and work can come up whenever you like, or never.
Is it free?
Yes. Signing up, browsing, a number of new chats each day and every reply cost nothing. Extras are optional.
