Chicago, by the season

Chicago has two seasons, winter and construction, and it goes out in both. Summer means rooftops, patios, the lakefront and a street fest in some neighborhood nearly every weekend. Winter means taverns with the heat cranked up, blues and jazz rooms, and improv shows where nobody minds the wind off the lake.

Through all of it, this is a corner-bar town. Plenty of nights start at the tavern down the block and end a few L stops away. YesTonite fits right in: switch on "out tonight", see who else is around, and turn a quiet Tuesday in February into a plan.

Thursday to Saturday are the big nights, and summer weekends run nonstop. Most bars close around 2 a.m., while some late-license spots stay open longer.

Events anyone can host

Anyone 18+ can host an event on YesTonite: a lakefront bike ride, trivia at your local tavern, a group night at an improv show, a summer rooftop meetup. Join open events right away; for closed ones you request a spot, and the address unlocks only for guests.

For local creators and venues

Chicago creators, neighborhood nightlife pages, bars, venues and event organizers: share your personal YesTonite link and earn a fixed amount for every new customer who joins through it. Payouts go out monthly.
