Going out in Valencia

Valencia is a city you cross by bike and go out in on foot. Many nights start with a beer on a terrace in Ruzafa, carry on through the narrow streets of the Carmen and, if the weather is nice (it nearly always is), end up near the sea in the Cabanyal or Malvarrosa.

In March the Fallas fill the city with mascletàs (thunderous daytime firecracker shows), street parties and crowds for days; in summer life moves to the beach and the nights stretch out with the breeze. The rest of the year, YesTonite helps you find someone else who feels like going out today.

And if someone offers you agua de Valencia, be warned: there is very little water in it.

Thursdays have a student crowd, Fridays and Saturdays are for everyone. Dinner is late and the night usually gets going after eleven.
