Going out in Palma

Palma is small enough to stroll and big enough to go out. In a single night you can have dinner in Santa Catalina, grab a drink in the little lanes of La Lonja and finish with the bay in front of you.

The city changes with the seasons: in summer it fills with visitors, cruise ships and plans by the sea; in winter the night belongs to the people who live here again, calmer and more local. That is exactly when it is hardest to find a plan, and when seeing who is out today makes the most sense.

In January, the eve of Sant Sebastià fills the squares with concerts and torrades (open-air barbecues): one of those nights when half of Palma is out at once.
