Just the right size, rather wet

Gothenburg is just the right size: Avenyn, Linné and Långgatorna are within walking distance, and a night often moves between all three. The city is full of students, so things happen midweek too, and the tone is easygoing. People love a joke here, and a truly bad pun is often the start of a good conversation.

Rain comes with the territory, so most things happen indoors, in bars and music venues around Järntorget and Långgatorna. In August Way Out West takes over Slottsskogen and the whole city gets a festival feel. With YesTonite you see who else is out tonight and can tag along or suggest something yourself.

Friday and Saturday are the biggest, but as a student city Wednesdays and Thursdays are lively too. Many meet early in Linné and move on to Avenyn later.
