Cluj after hours

Cluj is one of the country's biggest university centres and, more recently, one of its tech hubs, so evenings fill up fast. During the academic year the bars in the centre and near the campuses are full even midweek.

The centre is small and everything is walkable: Piața Muzeului to Piața Unirii is a few minutes on foot. In summer the city runs at festival pace, with Untold at Cluj Arena and Electric Castle at Bonțida, just outside town.
