Bucharest goes to bed late

Bucharest is a city that goes to bed late. A normal evening starts on a terrace, carries on in the Old Town or around Piața Romană and ends close to morning, and at the weekend nobody is in a hurry to get home.

In summer life moves outdoors: into the summer gardens, onto the terraces of Floreasca and around Lake Herăstrău. In winter the bars in the centre's old villas and the clubs take over. The hard part isn't finding a place, it's getting from "let's do something one of these days" in the group chat to an evening that actually happens.
