The British night out, minus the swiping.

YesTonite is opening city by city across the UK: see who nearby is heading out tonight, send one message and meet the same evening. Free, 18+.

Join free How it works

Britain goes out by rules nobody ever wrote down. You get your round in, you hear the bell for last orders, and there's a chippy on the way home. In London the night starts straight from the office; up north people go out properly at the weekend, coats very much optional; in Scotland a ceilidh can turn a room full of strangers into dance partners in one song.

The bit that's missing is meeting someone new. Hardly anyone walks up to a stranger in a pub, and the apps keep you chatting for weeks. YesTonite skips all that: switch on "out tonight", see who nearby is out too and say hello once. Pick your city below.

How it works: three steps.

  1. Say you're out

Switch on "out tonight" and you get a green dot. It turns off by itself in the morning.

  2. Send one message

See a photo and an age, say something, and the chat opens for both of you. No matching first.

  3. Meet tonight

Pick a place, or join an event nearby. Same evening, not three weeks of small talk.

Say hi first.

Any gender, any age 18+, any name. Free to join, and your first message opens the chat.
