Dubai, after sunset

In Dubai the day really begins at sunset. In the cooler months, roughly October to April, people head outdoors: a walk along the Marina, a karak from a roadside cafeteria, dinner on a terrace in DIFC, an evening on Kite Beach. In summer the evenings move inside, and everything simply starts later.

It's a city where almost everyone is new at something: a new job, a new apartment, a new circle of friends. That makes saying hello to someone new feel natural. The hard part is the first step, because most evenings get planned around colleagues and the same few friends.

YesTonite helps with that first hello: see who's out this evening, send one message and choose a calm, public place to meet. Please respect local laws and customs when you do.

Weekend evenings are the busiest, and plans usually start after sunset and run late. During Ramadan, evenings take a different, quieter rhythm around iftar.

Where Dubai spends its evenings

  • Dubai MarinaA waterfront promenade lined with restaurants and cafés.
  • JBRThe Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence: beachfront dining and evening strolls.
  • Downtown DubaiRestaurants and terraces around the fountains and the Burj Khalifa.
  • DIFCThe financial district, known for its restaurants and after-work dinners.
  • Al SeefA heritage-style waterfront on Dubai Creek, with cafés and abras gliding past.
  • Kite BeachJumeirah's beach for sunset walks, sport and food trucks.

How it works: three steps.

  1. Say you're out

Switch on "out tonight" and you get a green dot. It turns off by itself in the morning.

  2. Send one message

See a photo and an age, say something, and the chat opens for both of you. No matching first.

  3. Meet tonight

Pick a place, or join an event nearby. Same evening, not three weeks of small talk.

Events anyone can host

Know a café with a view or a favourite walk along the water? Anyone 18+ can host an event on YesTonite: a dinner for newcomers, a sunset walk on Kite Beach, a board game evening, an early run along the Marina before the heat. Open ones people join right away; for closed ones guests request a spot and the address stays private.

For local creators and venues

Dubai creators, city guides, restaurants, cafés and event organisers: share your own YesTonite link and earn a fixed amount for every new customer who joins through it. Payouts are monthly.

Questions, answered

Is YesTonite new in Dubai?

Yes, it's early days here. The people you see are real members who chose to show up; we never invent profiles or numbers.

I've just moved to Dubai. Is this for me?

Very much. Plenty of people here are new in the city too. See who's out nearby, say hello and meet somewhere public and busy, like a café on the Marina or a restaurant in Downtown.

What should I keep in mind when meeting?

Choose a public place, tell a friend your plans and respect local laws and customs. You can block or report anyone in two taps.

Is it free?
