YesTonite is an 18+ service for adults who want to meet other adults. YesTonite is developed and operated by City Dev (KvK 94677662, the Netherlands). We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and for anyone under 18 on YesTonite. These standards apply to the YesTonite app, the website https://yestonite.com and everything members share on them: profiles, photos, chats and events.
1. Zero tolerance
The following is strictly forbidden on YesTonite and leads to an immediate and permanent ban:
- sharing, requesting, linking to or offering any sexual or sexualised image, video or text involving a minor (CSAM), including drawn, edited or computer-generated material;
- grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor, or someone you believe is a minor, for sexual purposes;
- sextortion, or any other threat or pressure aimed at a minor;
- arranging to meet a minor, or using YesTonite to trade in, traffic or exploit children in any way;
- posting or sharing any content that sexualises minors, in a profile, photo, chat or event.
These rules are also part of our Terms of Service, which every member accepts when signing up.
2. Adults only
- You must be at least 18 years old to use YesTonite.
- Everyone gives their date of birth when signing up. Anyone under 18 cannot create a profile, and a date of birth can never be changed to an age under 18.
- Profiles that look like they belong to someone under 18 can be reported by any member and are treated as urgent (see below).
- If we find out that a member is under 18, we close the account.
3. How to report a concern
You can report from inside the app, without leaving it, and on the website:
- Open the member's profile or your chat with them and tap the options button (the three dots).
- Tap Report and choose Looks under 18. If someone makes you feel unsafe, or anything involves harm to a child, choose I feel unsafe.
- Add anything that helps us understand what happened (optional) and tap Send report. Keep Also block on to stop them from seeing or contacting you.
- Events can be reported the same way, with Report this event.
You can also e-mail our child safety contact at info@yestonite.com. The member you report is never told who reported them.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police or local emergency services first (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).
4. What we do with a report
- Reports for Looks under 18 and I feel unsafe are urgent. The moment one is sent, the reported profile is hidden from everyone and cannot start new chats, and their events are hidden, while we review it.
- A real person on our team reviews every report, as quickly as possible.
- When we confirm CSAE or CSAM, or that a member is under 18, we remove the content and permanently ban the account. Any events they host are cancelled.
- We keep the relevant account information, reports and content for as long as the law requires, so it can be handed to the authorities. It is not visible to anyone else.
5. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
When we become aware of CSAM on YesTonite, we remove it, ban the account that shared it, and report it to the relevant authorities. We do not share CSAM with anyone other than the authorities, not even to explain a decision.
7. Compliance with child safety laws
City Dev is based in the Netherlands. We comply with the child safety laws that apply to YesTonite, including Dutch law and European Union law, and with the laws of the countries where YesTonite is available. We also follow these published standards and the Google Play policies on child safety.
8. Child safety point of contact
Our designated child safety contact can answer questions about how we prevent CSAE and CSAM and how we apply these standards. Contact: YesTonite Trust & Safety, City Dev, Ripperdapark 37D, 2011 KE Haarlem, the Netherlands. E-mail: info@yestonite.com.
